Ever since the supposed plan by Sweden’s Ericsson to invest 1.5 billion dollars in South Korea was revealed to be a lie, some have been questioning the government’s official declaration on Monday regarding the completion of the South Korea-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA). It is confusing to determine when the administration is telling the truth and when it is lying. Moreover, the fact these incidences took place during the president’s trip to Europe invites international disgrace.

스웨덴 에릭슨의 15억달러 한국 투자 계획이 거짓으로 드러난 데 이어 지난 13일 타결됐다고 정부가 공식 발표한 한국-유럽연합(EU) 자유무역협정도 완전히 타결된 것은 아니라는 지적이 나오고 있다. 도대체 어디까지가 참말이고 어디까지가 거짓인지 혼란스럽다. 더욱이 이런 일들은 이명박 대통령의 유럽 순방 과정에서 터져나온 것이어서 국제적 망신을 사고 있다.
