Jeju citizens’ monthly payments for national health insurance increase by an average 1 %. According to Jeju Branch of the National Health Insurance Corporation, last year insurance payments surged due to the government’s plan to increase property tax base. However, Considering heavy burden on insurance holders, Jeju Branch adjusted increase rates by 1 % after revising the regulations on medical insurance. These new rates are expected to be applied starting this month. The nation’s average increase rates are 2.9%.

이달분부터 보험료 인상

이달분부터 국민건강보험 제주지역가입자의 보험료가 평균 1% 인상된다.
국민건강보험공단 제주지사에 따르면 지난해 건물과 토지 등 재산과표가 인상됨에 따라 지역 가입자의 보험료도 크게 늘어나게 되나 보험료 급등에 따른 가입자 부담 등을 고려, 건강보험법 시행령 개정을 통해 재산과표로 인한 보험료 인상률을 1%가 되도록 조정, 이달분부터 적용한다고 24일 밝혔다.
전국적으로는 평균 2.9% 인상됐다.
