Rumor has it that individuals who were once special advisers to President Lee Myung-bak during his campaign are being seriously considered for the job of president at OBS Gyeongin Television and Seoul Sinmun. We will have to wait to see the final choices made by each company’s “president recommendation committee,” but the situation appears to be such that you can’t ignore the possibility that people close to Lee are going to be given the helm at both media outlets since the unions of both companies are openly warning they are going to fight the move.

정권이 민영방송마저 장악하려 하나

최근 경영진 교체를 앞두고 있는 <오비에스>(OBS) 경인티브이의 대표이사 후보로 이명박 대통령 특보 출신이 유력하게 거론되고 있다고 한다. 사장추천위원회의 최종 인선 결과를 지켜봐야겠지만, 노조에서 성명을 내는 등 경고하고 나선 것으로 보아 특보 출신이 대표이사가 될 가능성을 무시할 수 없는 상황인 듯하다.
