The South Korean government is rolling out a set of new measures to control the effects of a possible flu pandemic as schools open for the fall term and the number of H1N1 influenza deaths climbs to three. The government aims to secure an estimated 15 million doses of vaccine to begin vaccinations from mid-November, and also hopes to secure enough of the drug Tamiflu to treat 10 million people by the end of the year.

신종플루, 총력 대응 체제 갖췄나

학교들이 개학하고 신종 플루로 인한 사망자가 3명으로 늘어나면서 정부가 다시 종합대책을 내놨다. 모두 1500만회 분량의 백신을 확보해 11월 중순부터 접종을 시작하며, 치료제 타미플루도 연말까지 1000만명분을 확보한다는 계획이다.
