There have been several incidents of the SAT test being leaked. Not even a week after a teacher at a Seoul Gangnam-area language institute was arrested on charges of obtaining the test paper in Thailand and distributing it to South Korean students in the U.S., another institute teacher was caught trying to siphon the test, this time to aid college students. As the situation has reached this point, the organizers of the test, US-based Educational Testing Service (ETS), have asked South Korean prosecutors to investigate. Prosecutors said they plan to open full-scale investigations of Gangnam private academies using a blacklist provided by ETS.

미국 대학수학능력시험(SAT) 시험지 유출 사건이 잇따라 터져나오고 있다. 서울 강남 어학원 강사가 타이에서 시험지를 빼돌려 미국내 한국 학생에게 유포한 혐의로 잡힌 지 일주일도 안 돼 강남의 또다른 학원 강사가 대학생들을 동원해 문제를 빼돌리다 붙잡혔다. 상황이 이 지경에 이르자 시험 주관처인 미국 교육평가원(ETS)이 한국 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다. 경찰은 이티에스가 제공하는 블랙리스트를 바탕으로 강남 학원가에 대한 본격적인 수사를 벌이겠다고 밝혔다.
